HILLIBIKES:
Atlantis, Appaloosa, Clem
Good for everything, specialty is touring, trails. Ride tires 50mm and up.

Atlantis and Appaloosa are 99 percent identical in ride, function. Small diffs: Color, sizes, and fork crown. The crowns are 100 percent interchangeable, just cosmetic diffs. Typical builds are $3,800.

Clem is better on steep trails, if you get on and off a lot. But for most trails, no diff. Clem can be sized UP because of the low top tube. A complete Clem assembled in Taiwan is about $2,400 and what a stupendous value. An a la carte Clem, about $3,300.

COUNTRY BIKES:
Homer, Sam, Platypus, YelloWolleY (YWY)
Ride tires 33mm to 50mm. Basically, all-around useful fat-tire road and “light trail” bikes Homer and YelloWolley are 75 percent road, 25 percent trail Sam and Platypus,  50-50.

Homer and Sam are 98 percent the same design, but Homer is 4oz lighter and uses sidepull brakes, so it’s more of a natural pick for road riders who ride trails a little, not lots. Sam has V-brakes, which allow slightly more clearance, and normal weight tubing and fork, for heavier riders and more trails. Neither will break on trails, Sam’s just more suited to trail riding and loaded touring. Typical builds, $3800.

PLATYPUS and YelloWolleY are easy-stepover models, for any road use and lighter trail use. The Platypus is fully lugged, so it costs more—about $3,800 a la carte. The YWY has a TIG-welded head tube, so it costs less. Designed for city-use and commuting, but light trail use, no problem. It rides the same as the Platypus and YWY, takes the same brakes (V-brakes). Available only as a complete bicycle, which keeps the cost down. About $2,700. Available July 2026.

ROAD BIKES:
Roadini, Charlie H. Gallop, RoadUno

Pavement. The wheelbases, tire clearances, and lighter tubing are for roads. Light roads (“gravel” in the modern parlance), no problem.

Roadini is our drop-bar road bike. Longer than other drop-bar road bikes. More stable, smoother, more comfortable, safer, versatile, practical. We like it with 32mm to 43mm tires. About $3,800.

Charlie is a long-wheelbase, upright bar road bike. Its length makes it even smoother than the Roadini (that’s saying a LOT) down any hill, and it fits a bigger tire. The lower standover lets you size up. It’s not what you imagine when you think, “road bike,” but it’s phenomenal. Fits tires to 48mm, About $3,800

RoadUno is the most practical, versatile, comfortable single-speed on earth. It has braze-ons for racks, a longer wheelbase than any other single-speed, and easily converts to a two- or three-speed. We can show you how or do it for you. It doesn’t cost tons less than our fully geared bikes, because all it’s missing are a cassette, front shifter, and front derailer. But if you’re looking for something different and really fun…can’t beat the RoadUno. Fits tires to 48mm. About $3,600.
