Roman's 59cm Sequoia - 87cm PBH

This era of Sequioa has always had a strong appeal to me and when a friend was selling his a few years back I jumped on the chance.

It was almost entirely stock and I swapped the drop bars out for the Alba cockpit and the original 700c x 23" wheelset for 650b set with the help of some R559 long reach brakes. The drivetrain is unchanged with the exception of the rear cassette -- 8spd friction shifting is a dream. Fenders, Mark's Rack & basket, and dyno-light take care of all my rainy, early morning/night time commuting needs.

I'm 5' 10" and my PBH is 87cm.

I <3 the Shimono Deerhead and Big S/ugino Flag crank logos.

DT shifters made the swap from drops to Albas easy.

I spaced this Blug Lug Koma light out with some CX70 brake pad hardware.

HiVis rear fender flap made from some gifted scraps of an old "Road Work Ahead" tarp.

This Ergon is technically a women's saddle. It's super comfy -- wide and flat with just the right amount of cushioning.

More fender-flap-fiddling. I made this one from some thin black plastic from TAP! Same material up front.
