September 2023 update:
I reach for this bike when I want to ride with a lighter load and feel quicker on descents. With a handlebar bag, I can carry enough for the day and not feel weighed down. It feels super good out of the saddle and seated on steep dirt climbs so I love to ride this bike on routes with a lot of elevation planned.
Notable Part Swaps:
Crust by Nitto 'Shaka Bar'
Different wheelset (swapped from another bike)
Soma Cazadero Tires Black Edelux and Rear Secula
Sugino triple 46-34-24
Berthoud Ti Saddle with a Randi Jo cover
Different Derailers
Randi Jo Fab Bar bag
