Rivendell Readers #0-39.

Comes out to a buck-an-issue for re-scanned PDFs spanning 1994-2007. We still have some of the Reader PDF CDs available if you don't need the whole set. These are newer scans though.

Newer readers are available free for download on the books>readers page. Reader #40 still needs to be scanned and posted. Thanks for your patience.

A few common sense things you agree to when buying these:

  1. Prices in the catalog pages are in no way current. They've gone up since '94
  2. Discontinued bike models are not available. Really. Check eBay.
  3. Just about everything is different now and you'll check the site for current availability and prices.
  4. We really, truly, we're not kidding you, honestly don't have any more of those axes we stopped selling ten years ago. Please don't call for discontinued stuff. It's long gone over years of garage sale blowouts.
  5. You won't use our old material against us and call up to tell us we're doing it all wrong now. The new stuff is better.
  6. You won't post these PDFs for free on the net. Print them out for your friend yes, but they are copyrighted. We're trusting you on this.

When "Just Ride" just ain't enough... March 20, 2013

So glad these are available, because I love the RBW take on cycling, loved Just Ride, and wanted to read more stuff by them.

Also gives a look into the personal experience of starting a business (RBW) with all its ups and downs and challenges and joys.

I love the mechanics articles, and articles about bike parts. Lots to learn about.

Also, some fascinating articles about interesting cyclists (fund raising-million-miler, also an Alaska-to-Argentina and back tourer).

I read them on my iphone's Kindle App. Also on my desktop.

Do not hesitate to buy.
Pop a cork on some readers today!!

Lovely idea - but did not work well with PC running Win7Pro.  It wanted to format the USB-drive - BAD!
In the MacBookPro it worked just fine, thanks very much!  Good thing I like my computers like I like my bikes - N+1 and in different "flavors".

Although less frequently produced now, Rivendell Readers are definitely for keeps, and worth re-reading from time to time. So this item is one that I will eventually purchase if/when the scans of RR40-43 are added to make it as complete as possible.  That would get 5 stars from me.
