My wife and I both wear these. They are comfortable and have held up for two and three years. I only washed them once so far. Hand wash, cold water, a little Woolite. It's not a big deal. I wouldn't put any leather in a washing machine. If the dye has run into the cotton web, I haven't noticed, but then, I probably haven't looked too hard at them. I put them on and Just Ride.

Yellow warning

Second the above. Nothing about these gloves indicates anything yellow to the eye. When the gloves turned yellow in the rain my assumption was dye running from my new yellow rain jacket. When the gloves began to stink I tossed them in the wash and woops, they roached a couple of good white shirts. Every day is easter for me now.
The gloves are wonderful, but let's add a yellow dye warning to the listing.

Great gloves for the price

I have gone through about 4 pairs of these gloves. They are good for about one summer of regular riding, but that is about the same for any brand. The main thing I like is that they have a fully padded palm. A lot of "modern" gloves seem to have varying shaped pads, with the un padded portion falling right where my bars are. For the price these are a great buy. Get multiple pairs, or buy with other items, to reduce the prorated shipping costs.

Yellow ain't mellow

After sweating from Boston to Quebec and back last summer, the yellow dye in the leather had run like crazy, and dyed they cotton webbing yellow.
Washing removes the dye from the leather completely, but not the cotton. So the colors are now entirely reversed!
These would be greatly improved if the yellow dye were simply left out of the manufacturing process.
