The new knickers are different and you might not like them. We like them even more, Here's how they're different (pics here):
• they're about two inches longer. If you have short legs or don't mind showing some ankle, you can wear them as pants.
• baggier than the earlier ones. I/Grant like baggy pants, so ..... I hope you do, too. See sizing note below, but hold on to the "baggier" fact.
• No velcro. Instead, there's an elastic strap at the bottom, with a buckle adjuster. It's easier to use once you get used to it, and it's easier to get used to. You adjust the strap so that when you pull the bottom up past your calf, it's snug enough to stay.
Whenever there's a change, we run the risk of bumming out those who don't like change, or who simply honestly preferred the earlier once. The earlier ones were good, too. The second best riding knickers we've ever used! But the new ones, sans-velcro and with the longer baggier legs, are---to my way of thinking---an improvement.
They're
superlight textured nylon with a seamless crotch, two front pockets,
and two rear pockets. You won't find any more comfortable or pleasant to
ride in and normal looking than these.
Color choices:
-- Dark gray with dark blue crotch and pockets.
-- Dark Brown (chocolate) with the same dark blue pockets and crotch.
-- Butternut with olive crotch and pockets
-- All Blackies.
Waist

be fine. Women, go by the sizes below.
