We were running out of Silver sidepulls, so we got these to tide us over, and we probably got too many of them. They are exactly Silvers, but branded Tektro. When Tektro makes Silvers, we specify KoolStop brake pads and grey cable housing, and they come in a nice box and all---but beneath the brake pads and Silver name on them, Silvers are these, and these are Silvers.

The brake pads are fine. The holders for them are cartridge style like the ones for the Silvers except for the gunmetal ano color and lack of wheel guides.  There is no box, no instructions, no cables or housing. You get two calipers, friend, and then you're on your own.

The reach is the same: 55mm minimum, 73mm maximum. Perfect for our A. Homer Hilsen, Mixte, or most 700c-to-650B conversions. This is a cheap way to get a great brake.
