Phil Oil
The thickest oil around, and kind of an odd duck in the world of bike mechanics, since oil's not used a lot and this isn't as thick as grease. But here in the shop we like it for accessing things like the bolts on seat posts, and come to think of it, that about wraps it up. Some folks use it for harsh-conditions chain lube, but holy mackerel, you'd never get that chain clean again. A tube will last you ten years. You can use it instead of grease for contact points, but not bearings.
Ways to Use It
- seat post bolts
Features
- it's drippable
