These are for those of you who are handy with a drill and not intimidated by the prospect of changing metal forever. They're made for Tioga pedals we used to sell but they're sure to also work on the many other pedals out there that have the option of using spikes.  And if you're familiar with a simple hand drill you can easily get these to work with our Grip Kings to get them to get even grippier.  The tiny nubs on the Grip Kings are already just the perfect size to be drilled out to accept these spikes; no special tapping is even needed---these spikes will self-tap themselves just fine. Use a 1/8-in or 3/32-in bit---the smaller size means a tighter fit, but the 1/8-is fine, and easier to screw in. The most efficientective tool for screwing them in is a tiny non-needle nose vise grip. Probably somebody makes a socket wrench for it, but basically, the vise grip works fine. Tiny vise grips are more useful around bike than you might thing. Perfect for nothing, good enough for almost have the nuts on your bike.

Thirty five spikes in each little baggie, and each spike is also coated with thread locking compound. Four to five per pedal side times four pedal sides per bike means twenty at most, but they come to us thirty-five per bag.

Your choice of Pointy or Blunt. Even the blunts grip like the dickens, but the spikey ones, even more. We sell the blunties 7-to-1 over the spikies, so if you want blunties, seriously buy now.
