Scout light

This is the lightest, cheapest, best headlight available for fairly unchallenging headlight tasks such as reading at night (in bed or tent), slow-speed (uphill?) riding, moseying around camp, night hiking on well-marked trails, and meeting the legal requirement for lights at night on your bike. That may sound like a dull review, but we don't take a shotgun approach to any product, so you can be sure that if we stock this light, and we do, we think it out-somethings every other light in its category, and we do.

It weighs only 1.8 ounces. It's ultra dinky. It shines the pants off other small lights we've tried, and it's made in the United States by Princeton Tech. All that would still be ho-hom/so what, but the PRICE is only $14. Throw it in the kangaroo pocket of a medium SaddleSack, or anyplace it'll fit. It's small enough to ride with in your pants, even. A light this small, this bright, and this cheap deserves to be with you and your bike at all times.
