A simple, original design that mounts rack-free onto any drop bar. Velcro straps grab the handlebar by the stem, and a clever use of webbing, buckles, and and a plastic loop simultaneously suspends and lifts the bag from underneath and around the lever hoods. It's harder to explain than it is to use.

The main bag is of super duper waterproof & pricey Scottish fabric we import ourselves. (If tan: all cotton, waterproof; if grey grid: cotton-poly ripstop). Both fabs are heavy and dry to your touch, not oily. Densely woven so no light gets through.

All webbing is U.S.-made military spec nylon---dense, thin, and strong. Edging is military spec binding, for long wear.

 A 2-inch tall strip of 3M Scotchlite runs across the front. It won't light your way, but on comming cars will see you.

D-rings on top allow you to tie on extra gear or put a map case there (the one we sell fits perfectly). If you don't need a map, run some elastic cord through the rings, as a semi-permanent elastic net system, ready for stuff to shove under.
