  Nitto Tallux Stem

Description

Technomic Tallux

We're the only ones in the galaxy with this stem---because it was made at our request. It's just like a Technomic Deluxe, but instead of a 190mm quill, it has a 225mm quill----just like the Technomic Standard.

But unlike the perfectly good Standard, this one--- like the Deluxe--- is cold forged and finely finished. So now, you can go tall and lustrous;  not just tall OR lustrous.

Always with a 22.2mm quill. Clamp diameters either 25.4mm or 26.0mm.

Had the dirt drop for a long time....It got the bars up where I needed em...I just couldn't get used to the looks.  The Tallux allowed me to keep the bars in the same spot...and I love the way everything looks... Rivenedell to the rescue again!

You're just what I needed. October 27, 2011

I've always considered myself more if a tall AND lustrous sort of guy. I'm assembling my dream bike and it was bugging me that I would have to compromise on the finish of just one component. Problem solved. Thanks a bunch.

Very happy with this stem October 24, 2011
Reviewer: Jonathan Baker from Lakewood, CA
My old 3T stem was mis-matched with my handlebars; a fact disguised by obsessive tightening on my part. (it actually broke upon loosening)  While any 25.4 stem would have fixed that, the height  of the the Nitto Tallux now allows a ride position far better than what I had forced myself to accept on this old Bridgestone Radac frame, which is a little small for me, but I like anyway.  This stem looks great with the frame and combined with this site's recommendations for the brake handle and handle bar positioning this bike is more enjoyable than ever before to ride.
