I keep one on my desk at work on the stone base of a vintage Schaeffer fountain pen desk set, with a whittled double ball in cage next to it. It looks good there. It also seems to be the only way for some people to fully understand what a lug is. Even when I show some folks the lugs on a lugged bike frame, they still don't completely get it. A bare lug makes the bulb light up over the person's head.
