Our Lay-Away Plan
  "Lay-away" sounds old-fashioned, like something you'd find in a country store in 1933. Maybe, but lay-away plans are making a comeback, and for some good reasons.

We thought we'd give 'em a try, and see if they would be another way for customers to buy one of our frames or bikes.

The time involved in staying on top of it won't allow us to use lay-aways for anything other than frames and bikes.

Here's how it works:

We tally up the total price of the frame or bike you want, including tax, shipping, the works.

You pay 20% of the total invoiced price. That locks in the frame and parts prices. If stuff goes up before your bike is paid off, you don't have to worry; that will be on us.

The remaining 80% is paid over the next 7 months, charged to a credit or debit card  on the first workday of each month, meaning it's all paid off in 8 months.

The total amount on the invoice will be a 'bike credit' that you pay toward. Half-way through, the frame will be ordered or set aside with your name. We will take the parts out of inventory after the final payment is made, and the build is scheduled.

In order to keep the plan manageable, try to keep component changes to a minimum during the lay-away. Of course, we know that changes happen. If they do, the price difference, plus or minus, will be taken care of with the last payment.

2013 Update: We've had maybe two layaways. If you want to do it, call us up, but don't be surprised if the newer guys don't know what's up. It's doable, but you'll be the only one and we might not be so diligent on the monthly charges.
Where's my store credit?
  If you think you have a credit on file from before the site relaunch, September 2011, just mention it in the order comments at checkout. We'll look through our database and apply it. This goes for membership renewal coupons, year-end rebates, store credit from returned merchandise and any other credit you may have accrued. Anything after September 2011 should show up under "My Account" and the "View Gift Certificate Balance" link.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
  If you live in California, yes! The rest of you don't.
I have a question on my charges.
  Click the "My Account" link at the top right hand side of our site to review your orders. You may compare your order history on our website, with your financial records. If you have further questions or concerns, please contact customer service for further assistance.
I need a copy of my receipt/invoice.
  Click the "My Account" link at the top right hand side of our site to print invoices. Keep in mind everything before 2011 isn't accessible on the website. But we have it here. 800 345 2918.
When will my credit appear on my account?
  Credits usually take 7-10 business days from the time we receive your item(s).
When will my credit card be charged?
  Your credit card will be charged within 24 hours prior to shipment of your item(s).
