Dec 3 tiny posting
December 3, 2007
We just got in women's ss pink wool t-shirts, and I think they look good, but I expect they won't fly out of here. Our only female model (convenient, without asking one of the Target employees about 300 yards from here) is Miesha, and she's 8 months pregnant. She might do it, we'll see, but she's home today.
Several of the frames on the Web Specials page are dropping in price about $50 a day until they sell or the price gets so low that we say forget it, we'll just keep it and try again later. But there's a 54 pea green one that's realy nice, and some others. They're all priced low, but I think nobody looks on the Web Specials page.
We have two Large Yellow Rain Hats left, and a few more of the other sizes. They've actually started to sell OK now ("OK" = four per week).
Remember Shawn Jones? Some of you may. He was the ten-year old kid who, eight years ago, was attacked by 3 pit bulls and wounded as badly as one can be wounded and still live. He's eighteen now, a senior in High School, and we'll have an update on him soon, maybe in the next RR.
The grey skullcaps are out now, but we still have red and yellow. Eight dollars, all wool, the color oughtnot matter a whole lot, but greys took off and reds and yellows are sitting. They go UNDER things, for the most part, so color doesn't matter, really, but if we had it to do over again, knowing this, all greys they'd be.
Last night between 4am and 5am a guy was murdered about 50 yards from us. Nobody was here, but when we and the other folks who have businesses in this building came in this morning, yellow police tape everywhere, and the reporters are here, and nobody knows anything except that the victim is a male and had 5 bullets in him. It feels odd to tack this on as a filler, but don't infer that we aren't all wound up about it. We don't get much of that here in Walnut Creek.
All for now,
G
