It's Reminder Day
December 31, 2009
Update: We will be calculating the rebates today. They should be ready tomorrow. Thank you for your support!
Por ejemplo:
If you spend $100 to-day, Dec 31, then $5 will be added to your credit on Jan 5.
If you spend $1,000, big spenda, you'd get $50 credit.
Let's say you want a Rodeo or a Hunquapiller this Spring, but you can pay some of it off now. OK, then. You call up and say you want to put $2,000 toward it. Then on Jan 5, you'll have $100 credit you can apply to your next purchase, or that bike, or whatever.
You don't get more; you get what you get sooner...like, in Two Days.
In any case, ifandonlyif you are a member (and you can join today-------$20), all of your Calendar Year purchases are totalled, and a 5% credit rebate is applied to your account on January 5, 2010.
And if you've bought (as a member; or not as a member but you join Dec 31), every purchase made this year will apply toward your credit on Jan 5.
Three hundred dollars, fifteen dollars credit....and so on.
The only way you can lose your credit is to not spend it in the calendar year. We don't send out notices that you have it. We aren't that automatic yet. But you know if you've bought stuff, and you probably know if you're a member, and if you have and are, you'll have a little credit waiting for you on Jan 5.
If you happened to buy a bike from us, it'll be $100 to $200, maybe more.
Thank you for helping us do this. Thanks for helping me/Grant employ really good people. Thanks for trusting us by buying things sight-unseen (except on the site). We always try to underdescribe.
Everything sold to the even dollar. No price ending in a 9. Ever since 1994 (although, techically our first sale---a cake of beeswax---was on Jan 4, 1995).
Best,
Grant
