Weekend Update

March 14, 2009

Betty Foys are expected March 20. They're in Los Angeles now, and we just sent payment for the ocean freight&customs, so as soon as the freight forwarder gets that, they said they'd send them right up.
We'll have a men's version by April 25. It will be the Yves Gomez, and it's going to be black and gold. Ten of the 100 Bettys are unpainted, so we'll have these changed into Yves Gomez.  (These will be $1250, to cover the cost of the Rick/USA paint job.)

Sam Hillbornes are expected April 30. The 56s are sold out, but we still have some 48s, 52s, and 60s. We're taking deposits on the next run of 56s, due in June.

The first twenty Saddlesack Mediums went out yesterday, and the first twenty Larges went out today. We'll get another twenty of each by March 27, and they'll go right out. The "save ten bucks for early ordering" deal ends at 5pm California time on Saturday, March 14. That may be today!

We have several more Sackville models in the works---most will be familiar shapes, but a few new ones. As with the Saddlesacks, we will offer "early orderer discounts" to help us with the cash flow on these---to assure that when the whopping bill arrives, we can help cover it with pre-ordered sacks. This may become our way of dealing with any number of costly, long-time to-get, big-bill-when-they-arrive items.

Reader 42 is coming along. It will be back to the  old size, about 8 1/2 x 11, and we're trying to make it good. RR41 is still on the site in living color downloadable as a pdf. To access it....well, I'll ask Spencer to make a link  here to download for free.
