The bags cost a lot. They're the niftiest saddlebags you'll ever see----well, right up there with the Nigel Smythes, but with a different style and some different features.
Our ordering them is helps the maker, an even smaller business than we are. Your ordering them helps us, and trickles back to the bag maker. It's hard to ask for orders, and may seem frivolous or irresponsible to do so in these lousy times, but I want to ask, anyway. So----

IF you need  a bag, please look at these. They are spectacular, and it would be a shame if they couldn't continue. Help them continue if you're in a position to, please, and keep the makers around. We---as Rivendell---will not be made or broken by the success of these bags. And they aren't the only bags the bagmaker makes, either.  They have other customers, bigger than we are. But our plans for this line could be a significant bump to them, and the money mess we're all facing doesn't just affect Fortune 500 companies and others that make the papers. Small companies suffer a lot, and are often the ones least able to weather even a slight blow. We're offering an "early adopter discount" of $10 on these bags. Not a lot, but maybe something.
