The bride likes them too
May 2, 2013
Reviewer: Brian from Seoul
Worn these a few times so far and they are quite good. I'm between sizes and sorta think the large is a wee bit too large, but I fear a med would be too small. Oh well. This morning my wife said "at first I thought those would look goofy, but they are actually quite cute on you." That's gotta count for something.

Comfortable, Practical, Great Color
February 21, 2013
Reviewer: Bobby Welsh from Falls Church, VA
These are my first MUSA purchase. I really like the butternut color and the knickers have proven to be very comfortable. These are no-frills and sort of anti-stylish, but I'm good with that. They extend my riding-without-tights temp down to about 30F. I got a larger size, so they're long for knickers--I like that, too--but don't feel/look extra baggy. The gusset is better than my Gramicci's. Mark me down for 'satisfied customer'.

Good, but...
December 13, 2012
Reviewer: David H. from Portugal
This was my first Musa experience so I can't compare with the previous iteration.
Comfort is great and after 2 weeks in Nepal I can consider these as expedition worthy.
The caveats: deep pockets are good, zippered pockets are better; buttoned back pockets are good, double buttoned with flap back pockets are better; the belt is way under built.
With a few (more) improvements - 5 stars.

Great fit, comfortable, well thought out design

A few months ago I decided to try a pair of the old MUSA pants while they were still available on sale. I liked 'em so much I decided to try out a pair of the new style MUSA knickers for the warmer months and I like those even better. If I could get away with it they'd probably be the only pants/shorts I wear this summer.

Simple, functional and comfortable
April 10, 2012
Reviewer: Dallar from Taichung, Taiwan via Vancouver, Canada
I bought my first pair of MUSA pants a few months ago which I just loved. I wear them rolled up just below the knees on warmer rides and find they look great rolled up or down. Since I was so impressed with the craftsmanship and low key non-techy appearance (which can be hard to find) I then ordered the MUSA shorts and knickers. The gusseted crotch is the key detail with the MUSA line and find when paired with the MUSA wool boxers they are very comfortable.

Love these Knickers! (aka capris for us women)

I just received my first Musa knickers! super happy with them. Fit is perfect, with room, and I like that there is NO annoying velcro that snags on things. tightening cinches are good, fit is terrific. I am 190 lbs, 5'10" female. nice to have something to fit the thighs in! hopped on the bike,,,terrific. looking at getting another pair!

Awesomely surprised
April 4, 2012
Reviewer: Jeff from Oregon
I was skeptical when they arrived and fretted they would be too baggy. Wore them for the first time today on a 25 miler, light padded shorts underneath and a wooly jersey on top. Typical Oregon ride--sun, wind, rain, and hail. The knickers didn't feel baggy at all. They felt...normal. After the ride, I found myself not wanting to change into something more comfortable. Also--no flapping if you tuck the cuff straps back into the channel made by the seam. Great product! Might get another pair...

Great Knickers!
March 24, 2012
Reviewer: Patrick from Colorado
These are fantastic! Finally a pant-like thing that isn't always flopping about around my calf. Beautiful.
I live in Colorado and they are perfect cold weather (15-60ËšF tested so far). Wool calf warmers extend their range down. The reviewer from Atlanta is right, these are not warm weather friendly compared with the shorts.
As to the comment about the side pull tabs flapping, I tuck mine into the bottom of the knicker leg. Straps disappear until needed. OF course, that presumes they are cinched down enough to hold the strap up there, but that isn't very tight.

nylon?

It was like riding in a well tailored Glad bag. From the breathable fabric folks, this was a real disappointment.

Musa Knickers
November 7, 2011
Reviewer: Chuck from Chicago
I've ridden in the new knickers for a couple hundred miles by now. At some point during rides, I inevitably start to think that they're just too long and baggy. The extra material and the dangling elastic at the cuff (a bug, not a feature) flap with each pedal stroke. Quite annoying after a while.
Too bad, really. Musa is best quality stuff I've come across. But here, form doesn't follow function as well as it should.
